Abstract:
Current issues of the development and studies of the properties of polymeric nanocomposites of various nature are considered. The results of the studies of structural (polymer–layered silicate, polymer– nanodiamond) and functional (based on conducting or liquid-crystalline polymers) hybrid nanomaterials are presented. Approaches to modification of nanoparticles and their dispersion in polymer matrix, the role of interactions between polymer matrix and fillers and of nanoparticle morphology in the course of processing are discussed.
