Abstract: Advanced quantum chemical methods for calculations of NMR spin-spin coupling constants are surveyed. The theoretical grounds of these methods are outlined and the authors' view of their evolution and stereochemical applications in structural and stereochemical studies are presented. Bibliography — 288 references.
