Abstract: The published studies in a quickly developing field of research, gas-phase oxidative pyrolysis (oxidative cracking, oxidative dehydrogenation) of light alkanes, are systematized and analyzed. This process attracts researchers' attention due to the general enhancement of interest in the kinetics of homogeneous-heterogeneous processes of partial oxidation of hydrocarbons and also in view of the prospects for the design of new industrial processes based on light hydrocarbons as raw materials. The bibliography includes 87 references.
