Abstract:
Studies on procedures for the analysis of high-purity solids by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy and mass spectrometry published over the last decade are considered. The analytical scope of the methods is outlined. Specific features of sampling procedures, matrix effects and possibilities of decreasing the detection limits of impurities based on their preconcentration are discussed.
