Abstract: The methods of synthesis and properties of 1-aza-, 1,3-diaza-, and 1,3,5-triaza-adamantanes and their derivatives are discussed and treated systematically. The prospects for the employment of azaadamantanes in the solution of certain theoretical problems in the chemistry of nitrogen-containing compounds and for practical purposes – in catalysis, polymer technology and pharmacology – are demonstrated.
The bibliography includes 152 references.
