The gas-chromatographic and gas-chromatographic–mass-spectrometric identification of halogen-containing organic compounds

The problem of identifying halogen-containing organic compounds in their gas-chromatographic and gas-chromatographic–mass-spectrometric (GC-MS) determination in different materials has been examined. Particular attention has been paid not to the complete characterisation of methods for carrying out this analysis but to the most important problem of increasing the selectivity at the stages of sampling, separation, and interpretation of the gas-chromatographic and GC-MS information.
