Abstract: The conditions for the thermodynamic compatibility of polymers and methods for its enhancement are examined. The study of the influence of various factors on the concentration-temperature limits of compatibility, dispersion stabilisation processes, and methods for the improvement of adhesion between phases in mixtures of thermodynamically incompatible polymers is described. Questions concerning the improvement of the physicomechanical characteristics of polymer dispersions are considered.
