Tautomerism and various coordination modes of typical chelating ligands with metals

Abstract: Data on the tautomerism of classical chelating ligands, viz., β-diketones and nitrogen- and sulfur-containing analogues, are surveyed. The possibilities of the stabilisation of specific tautomers of these organic compounds due to coordination with metals are discussed.
