Abstract: The literature data on the polymerisation and copolymerisation of unsaturated derivatives of carbaboranes and silicon- and carbaborane-containing compounds as well as the physicochemical properties of the polymers obtained are surveyed. Special attention has been devoted to the synthesis of polymers with dicarbaundecaborate fragments and metallocarbaborane complexes based on them.
The bibliography includes 118 references.
