Abstract:
The principal results of the use of a hydrophilic paramagnetic probe in 1H , 13C, and 31P NMR spectroscopy to study the structure, stability, and local density of packing of colloidal systems have been examined. The magnetic properties of the ions of f- and d-metals used as shift and relaxation probes have been discussed. Methods for estimating the stability of micelles and the conformation of the polar fragments of the molecules of surface active substances (SAS) on the surface of micelles and vesicles have been described. Particular attention has been paid to the study of dynamics, the compositional asymmetry of lipid membranes, the analysis of their interaction with physiologically active compounds, and the structure of biocolloidal systems. The bibliography contains 134 references.
