Saratov Polytechnical Institute
Abstract: The present state of research in the field of the thermal degradation and combustion of fibre-reinforced polymeric composite materials is examined. Special attention has been devoted to questions of the inter-relation between the chemical compositions of the reinforcing fibres and the polymeric binders as well as their thermophysical and thermochemical properties, on the one hand, and the processes occurring on pyrolysis and combustion of the materials, on the other.
The bibliography includes 99 references.
