The Preparation, Structure, and Properties of Semiconductor Films Based on Acetylenic Polymers

Abstract:
The methods of preparation of organic polymeric semiconducting materials by the catalytic polymerisation of acetylene and its derivatives are described. The characteristics of the catalyst and the influence of the conditions of synthesis on the structure, morphology, stability, and conductivity of the films as well as the questions of the ageing, stabilisation, and doping of the films and the appearance of microheterogeneities (defects) as a result of ageing and oxidation of polyacetylene are considered. The bibliography includes 196 references.
