Phosphorylated Allenes. Methods of Synthesis and Properties

N. G. Khusainova, A. N. Pudovik

Kazan State University
Abstract: A systematic account is given of the literature data on the methods of synthesis of phosphorus-containing allenes. The unusual chemical behaviour of phosphorylallenes in their interaction with electrophilic addends is discussed and at the same time a new type of reaction, which leads to five-membered heterocycles containing a phosphorus atom directly in the ring, is considered. The review also deals with studies on nucleophilic addition to phosphorylallenes.
The bibliography includes 146 references.
