Abstract: Data on the synthesis, structure, and chemical properties of complexes of non-transition and transition metals with tervalent phosphorus amides are surveyed. An attempt is made to trace the influence of the amide functional group of the ligand on the properties of these compounds. The literature data on the practical use of the metal complexes with formamides are analysed in the review.
The bibliography includes 265 references.
