Abstract: The properties of a new group of catalysts based on crystalline silicates with the zeolite structure, containing the multicharged Be2+, B3+, Cr3+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Mo6+, Se6+, etc. cations occluded in the hydrothermal crystallisation process, are described. The state of the multicharged cations in the silicates has been characterised by physical methods (NMR, EPR, and X-ray diffraction). The selectivity and catalytic activity of such silicates in the formation and other reactions of hydrocarbons and hydrocarbon mixtures are examined.
