Abstract:
Various aspects of the influence of molecular complexes on the efficiency of two-phase methods for purifying substances have been examined (for the case of the volatile inorganic hydrides of the elements of groups IIIa–VIIa). Data published in the last 10 years on the experimental and theoretical study of intermolecular interactions in these systems have been discussed. Chemical methods for purifying hydrides, including the formation of stable molecular complexes, have been examined briefly. The bibliography contains 172 references.
