Abstract: The principal problems and certain examples of the application of physical methods for investigations in the course of catalysis are examined. The methods for the investigation of the role of phase transformations in heterogeneous catalysis and the application of infrared spectroscopy to the study of surface compounds are considered in greatest detail.
The bibliography includes 65 references.
