Abstract: The literature data on the kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics of the polycondensation of aromatic diols, diamines, tetramines, and their derivatives with tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides and dicarboxylic acid dihalides in amide solvents are surveyed. Attention is concentrated on the analysis of the dependence of the physicochemical parameters of the polycondensation on the nature of the nucleophile and electrophile.
The bibliography includes 157 references.
