Abstract:
The state of the chemistry of the cluster compounds of palladium and platinum is examined. The principal properties, structure, chemical reactions, and methods of synthesis of the phosphinepalladium and phosphineplatinum carbonyl clusters are described and the methods used to regulate the nuclearity of the clusters and their interconversions are discussed. The bibliography includes 69 references.
