Scientific Research Institute of Nutrition, Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, Moscow
Abstract: Chemical reactions involving the most important functional groups and yielding easily detectable compounds are discussed. The possible development of a system of functional microanalysis of organic compounds on the basis of chemical reactions, thin-layer and column liquid chromatography, and spectrometric methods is considered.
