Abstract:
The present state of the apparatus used in the temperature jump method (methods for rapid heating, recording concentration changes, and collecting and processing experimental data) has been described. The formal kinetics of chemical relaxation on complex formation (relaxation times and amplitudes) have been examined. The mechanisms of complex formation by metal ions with various ligands, based on data obtained by the temperature jump method, have been discussed. The bibliography contains 118 references.
