Abstract: The general principles of the polymerisation filling of polyalkenes and various other polymers have been examined. Physical and chemical methods for activating mineral and organic fillers, which lead to the production on their surface of active centres initiating polymerisation processes, have been discussed. The kinetic characteristics of the polymerisation of various monomers on a surface have been examined. The results of studies of the properties and various characteristic features of the structure of polymerisation-filled compositions have been described.
