Fluorine-containing Dyes

The methods of synthesis, properties, and applications of fluorine-containing dyes of all classes are examined. The influence of fluorine atoms and fluorinated substituents on the spectroscopic properties of dyes is discussed. It is shown that the introduction of fluorine-containing substituents makes it possible to obtain dyes which are resistant to oxidation, light, and other physical influences.
