Abstract: The state-of-the-art in the design of piezoelectric immunosensors is analysed. The analytical conditions, types of immunochemical reactions detected by piezogravimetric sensors and methods for immobilisation of bioreceptor molecules on the electrode surface of piezoelectric resonators are considered. Special attention is given to the use of immunosensors for the detection of microorganisms and low- and high-molecular-mass compounds in liquid media.
