Abstract: Recent work on the separation of sulphur isotopes by distillation, chemical exchange, and isotope exchange methods is reviewed, and the characteristics of both laboratory and industrial apparatus for the separation of sulphur isotopes are tabulated. The direction of further developments is discussed with emphasis on a more rational organisation of the work and on the scientifically most promising approaches. 138 references.
