Abstract: Studies on the synthesis and chemical reactions of 1,3,2-diheterophosphorinanes containing a tervalent phosphorus atom are examined for the first time within a single review. The influence of the heteroatoms surrounding the phosphorus atom on the properties of the phosphorinane system is analysed. The chemical features of mono- and poly-cyclic 1,3,2-diheterophosphorinane are compared and the ways of the practical utilisation of these substances are discussed.
The bibliography includes 338 references.
