Protection of the Amino-group in Peptide Synthesis

Abstract: N-Protecting groups most widely used in peptides synthesis are examined. The possible mechanisms of the elimination of the protecting groups in acid and alkaline media are described and the methods of synthesis of the reactants for the introduction of certain protecting groups are considered.
