Abstract: Reduction and cyclisation of o-nitro-substituted heterochain polymers provides a new method for obtaining polyheteroarylenes of cyclochain structure. A large number of reactions demonstrate synthetic possibilities and show its advantages over traditional methods. A list of 90 references is included.
