Abstract: The kinetics, the topochemistry, and the mechanism of the emulsion polymerisation of non-polar monomers are discussed in the light of results obtained during the past decade. The part played by components of the system, features of the primary reactions, and the theory of emulsion polymerisation are considered. A list of 114 references is included.
