Abstract:
Results obtained on the stereochemistry of carbonyl derivatives of five-membered heteroaromatic systems – furan, thiophen, selenophen, tellurophen, pyrrole, and azoles – are summarised and systematised. Factors responsible for the stereochemical behaviour of conformationally non-rigid s-cis–trans-isomers of carbonyl derivatives of five-membered hetaryls are isolated. A list of 287 references is included.
