Abstract: The basic laws of the osmotic theory of mixed isoactive solutions of electrolytes are discussed, and the possibilities of calculating the thermodynamic functions of the mixtures from data for the binary isopiestic solutions are considered. The results obtained for the salting-out effect in extraction systems are presented as an illustration of the theory.
