Abstract: The available information about the free radicals and radical-ions formed by "true" organometallic compounds of non-transition metals is surveyed and described systematically. The methods of synthesis and the properties of radicals with the free valence located at the metal or in a ligand and the synthesis and structure of organometallic radical-ions are considered.
The bibliography includes 185 references.
