Prediction of the Variation of the Properties of Polymeric Materials after Prolonged Storage and Use

The fundamental problems of the prediction of the changes in the properties of polymeric materials (in consequence of ageing, mass transfer, and the application of stresses) after prolonged storage and use are examined. The experimental conditions and the methods of interpretation of experimental data as well as characteristics of the method of accelerated tests on articles made from polymeric materials are discussed.
