Gas-chromatographic Analysis of Nucleic Acids
V. V. Tets 1st Leningrad Medical Institute
Abstract:
Problems of the gas-chromatographic analysis of the components of nucleic acids are examined and data for the conditions governing such studies are presented. Since the investigation of the composition of nucleic acids involves, apart from gas chromatography, their isolation from natural sources and the preparation of volatile derivatives, particular attention is devoted to the problem of the preparation of samples for analysis. The fundamental trends in the practical applications of the method are discussed. The bibliography includes 120 references.
