Abstract: Data on the synthesis and principal properties of polymers with a conjugation system containing repeating azaporphin macrorings are surveyed and described systematically. An account is given of the change in properties on passing from metal-free polymers and their metal complexes, on the one hand, to the corresponding low-molecular-weight analogues, on the other.
The bibliography includes 135 references.
