Abstract:
Reactions leading to the formation of an Si–C bond – the hydrosilylation of unsaturated organic compounds by organohydrosiloxanes and the hydride addition of organohydrosiloxanes to organosilicon compounds containing multiple carbon–carbon bonds – are examined. Factors influencing the course of the reaction and the properties of the addition products are discussed. The bibliography includes 153 references.
