Abstract: Data on the extraction of heteropolycompounds published in the period 1965–1977 have been reviewed. The principal directions of study and recent achievements in establishing the regular features of extraction and investigating the mechanism of extraction have been examined. Data on the use of extraction to separate and determine elements in inorganic analysis have been given. The bibliography contains 211 references.
