Abstract: The methods of synthesis, principal properties, and aspects of the application of polyphenylenes obtained by the trimerisation polycyclocondensation (PCC) of aromatic acetyl compounds or their ketals are examined. Attention is concentrated on the analysis of the influence of the conditions of synthesis on the cyclisation process.
The bibliography includes 51 references.
