Abstract:
Advances in the synthesis of polymers and copolymers by acceptor-catalytic polyesterification from dicarboxylic acid dichlorides and diols in the presence of tertiary amines are examined. The considerable possibilities of this method are demonstrated. It makes it possible to obtain polymers and copolymers of different composition and structure, including stereoregular polycondensation polymers of a new type – conformationally-regular polyarylates. The study of acceptor-catalytic polyesterification made it possible to establish experimentally the principal characteristics of the formation of polymers containing "head-to-tail" fragments and of copolymers under the conditions of non-equilibrium polycondensation and copolycondensation in a homogeneous system. The bibliography includes 128 references.
