Abstract: The present state of the chemistry of organic monothiopyrophosphates is described. Discussion of methods of preparation is followed by consideration of physical and chemical properties. Close attention is paid to symmetrical monothiopyrophosphates and their isomerisation, as well as the properties distinguishing them from the unsymmetrical isomers. A list of 72 references is included.
