Salting-out and Salting-in of Gaseous Non-electrolytes in Aqueous Solutions of Electrolytes
E. I. Konnik
Abstract:
Modern theories of sa!ting-out and salting-in of gaseous non-electrolytes are reviewed and compared with experimental data. We conclude that a strict thermodynamic theory of salting-out and salting-in of non-electrolytes is not yet available. The use of salting-out and salting-in data to determine some physicochemical characteristics of solutions is described. 56 references.
