Abstract: The use of gas-chromatographic methods for analysing metals is considered. Attention is paid mainly to study of the gas-chromatographic properties of compounds of metals with various derivatives of β-diketones as well as complexes with thioketones and derivatives of β-ketoimines. Attempts to separate the rare-earth metals gas-chrornatographically are examined, together with highly sensitive gas-chromatographic methods for determining traces of metals (beryllium, aluminium, chromium, etc.). A list of 78 references is included.
