Abstract: Data on the application of physical methods for the estimation of the degree of charge transfer and the nature of charge distribution in complexes of the donor–acceptor type are examined and described systematically. The dipole moment method, infrared spectroscopy, nuclear quadrupole resonance, Mössbauer spectroscopy, X-ray electronic spectroscopy, and quantum-chemical calculations are considered.
The bibliography includes 105 references.
