Abstract: Possible fields of application of the phenomenon of quantum beats in spin-correlated radical pairs in studies of the properties of short-lived radicals (lifetimes of up to a few nanoseconds) in liquid solutions are considered. The theoretical approaches to the description of this phenomenon and modern experimental data are analysed.
