Abstract: The structure, multiplicity of the electronic states, and reactivity of cyclohexadienone carbenes are discussed. The literature on the chemical behaviour of such carbenes has not previously been surveyed. Only monocylic carbenes of the above type are considered.
The bibliography includes 70 references.
