Abstract: The review deals with the literature on the separation of chiral thio- and seleno-derivatives of phosphorus-based acids into optical isomers and their most important stereospecific transformations are discussed. Particular attention is concentrated on the analysis of the configurational relations between chemical and physicochemical methods for the determination of the absolute configurations of optically active thio-derivatives of phosphorus-based acids.
The bibliography includes 121 references.
