Abstract: The present state of the solid-phase method of peptide synthesis is considered, its advantages and disadvantages are analysed, and the trends in and prospects of its further development are described. Attention has been concentrated on problems of improving polymeric carriers, of obtaining aminoacyl polymers, and also the problem of the formation of erroneous sequences in solid-phase peptide synthesis.
The bibliography includes 376 references.
