Abstract: The dynamics of bimolecular non-adiabatic elementary process in gases are discussed. The inelastic processes occurring in collisions between atoms and dia-atomic molecules and exchange and decomposition reactions are considered within the framework of the semiclassical description of collisions based on the instantaneous jump model of the reacting system between adiabatic potential energies surfaces.
