Organophosphorus Complexones

Abstract: Organophosphorus complexones are a new group of highly effective complex-forming compounds capable of binding metal ions in aqueous media. The principal trends in the development of studies on the synthesis and properties of organophosphorus complexones are discussed and methods for the modification of their structures and their most interesting applications are indicated.
