Abstract: A systematic account is given of the literature data on metallocarboranes. Particular attention is devoted to methods of their synthesis and their structures. The characteristic differences between metallocarboranes with π-linked carboranyl ligands and their π-cyclopentadienyl analogues are considered.
The bibliography includes 134 references.
